Size Guide

Getting the size right

Cotton is a natural fibre, so a small amount of relaxation and shrinkage is normal. Our pieces are cut with that in mind. Here is how to choose.

The reliable method

Take something you already own that fits the way you want, lay it flat, and measure it. Comparing a garment to a garment is far more accurate than measuring a body, and it takes thirty seconds. Match the waist width and the length and you will get it right almost every time.

Men's boxer shorts

Sizes run 48, 52 and 56. The cut is true to size with deliberate room through the seat and thigh, so there is no need to size up for comfort. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. If you prefer your boxers to sit closer, take the smaller.

Kids' sets

Sizes run by age, from 2-3 years through 11-12 years. Start with your child's usual age size.

  • If your child is tall for their age, go one size up.
  • If you want the set to last a second season, go one size up. Cotton sets worn loose look intentional; worn tight they look outgrown.
  • If your child is between sizes, always take the larger.

Women's nightwear

Sizes run S, M, L and XL, cut relaxed with nothing tight at the waist. Take your usual size. If you sleep warm or prefer a looser fit, take the next size up.

After the first wash

Wash cold or at 30 degrees and tumble dry low. Hot washes and hot dryers are what actually shrink cotton, not the cotton itself. Follow the care instructions on the product page and the fit you buy is the fit you keep.

Still not sure
